Description
This story is about a young lady whose parents died when she was 9 years old. Her father was from an uncivilized remote village called Lebotloane. The chiefs of that village controlled everyone in everything they do in their lives. They were so traditional and believed in veneration of ancestors more. They also believed that a wealth of a man is having cows and farming. They wanted their people to give birth there, work in their plantation, marry there and buried there. They even arranged marriages for their villagers. They never promoted education at all. Only boys were sent to school for few grades only. The orphan late father was intelligent and by that he completed his matric and furthered his studies by the help of government. He married her mother whom he wasn’t arranged for and worst was not from their village.
